How do you define sports? Millions of kids start competing in some activity at a young age but never learn a definition of their activity, whether it’s dance, music, martial arts, or one of your standard sports, that can serve as their mission through their journey. What does dance, music, martial and lacrosse and other team sports have in common? It’s all the same…it’s movement through time and space. When you can create time and space for yourself and your teammates and then manage your pace, you can reach true greatness.

MDP Speed Training focuses on the 4 most important pieces to movement: Linear Speed, First Step Quickness, Lateral Speed, and Mental Quickness. One is good but execute all 4 together with the ability to create time and space, and control the pace with physical, mental and emotional balance and you will perform your sport at your highest possible level. 

MDP Speed Training brings together athletes of all sports to perfect the movement that will elevate their performance, allow them to excel at all aspects of their chosen sport, and protect you psychologically and physically from harm and injury.

 

LEVEL 1: LINEAR SPEED

MOVEMENT—learn how the foundation of any great athlete is how they move; strength, power and balance through the trunk of the body.
1-on-1 training

LEVEL 2: FIRST-STEP QUICKNESS

SLOW-MOTION MIND—as physical, mental and emotional distractions increase so does the speed of the mind. The slow-motion mind separates great athletes from average athletes.
1 trainer with up to 3 athletes

LEVEL 3: LATERAL SPEED

SELF-AWARENESS—when you prepare through a Process of feel, NOT a process of thought, you will stay in a sequence longer.
2-3 trainers with 4 or more athletes

LEVEL 4: MENTAL QUICKNESS

MENTAL QUICKNESS—the ability to respond in milliseconds to any stimulus. Your internal GPS is programmed to create and control the space around you earlier then anyone around you.

GLOSSARY

SPEED (Linear)—how fast can you run in a straight line – from Point A to Point B? Learn how to run that fast and faster with the balance to change direction and take contact from the opposition.

FIRST-STEP QUICKNESS—can you reach top speed in your first two steps? Learn the technique involved to maximize your speed when the opposition is taking your space away.

SPEED (Lateral)—how fast are you side to side? Lateral speed is often overlooked, but is the difference maker in all sports of movement.

MENTAL QUICKNESS—how early can you respond to constantly changing conditions? Learn the process of connecting your physical movement dots with your mental movement dots. Once you do, you’re unstoppable.
